Aloalto had identified a large gap in the real estate market where property managers were critically underserved from a digital point of view. They relied either on flimsy Excel sheets or antiquated products to manage their lease lifecycles, transaction matching, accounting integration, communication with tenants and owners and all the other aspects of their profession.
The task at hand was tremendous: to devise a product that would include all the features needed to do end-to-end rental and property management while ensuring a seamless and pleasant user experience, using the cutting edge technologies that had so far been absent from this space.
The Aloalto team came together to design and implement the ideal product aimed at the rental and property management market, initially targeting the Belgian market. Called Up2Rent, the solution is an entirely web-based SaaS product based on AWS and Serverless technologies, using a React frontend and leveraging GraphQL to manage its complex data model.
Today Up2Rent serves dozens of customers managing thousands of rental units. It drastically simplifies the job of property managers and makes it a much more enjoyable and error-free process.
