Setting a monthly rent for a rental property is as much an art as it is a science. Aloalto was looking to help property managers evaluate the optimal level of rent.
As a new feature in Up2Rent, Aloalto wanted to help property managers determine what level of rent could be expected from a certain property.
Aloalto scraped public data around properties for rent online, including size, location, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, and many other attributes of rental properties and trained a machine learning model to predict the monthly rent that can be reasonably expected.
Up2Rent now has a rental prediction feature for pro users.
